What to expect?

KeisarinKelo is a separate kelohirsimökki built for real cabin life. Thick log walls, natural materials, and soft light create a warm, grounded atmosphere that feels calm in every season. This is a place to slow down, not a polished resort stay.

The cabin comfortably accommodates up to 9 guests. There are two bedrooms with renewed beds and high-quality linens, plus a spacious loft with additional sleeping places. The layout works equally well for families and larger groups.

The living room, kitchen, and dining area form one open, inviting space. High ceilings, large windows, and solid log walls bring the surrounding forest inside. After a day outdoors, the natural stone fireplace becomes the natural gathering point for long evenings.

The kelosauna offers soft, traditional löyly for relaxed sauna sessions. The washing area includes a shower and washing machine. There is also a separate indoor WC, a spacious entrance hall, and a drying cabinet for outdoor clothing.

The kitchen is fully equipped with updated appliances, including an induction stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, and coffee maker. Cooking is easy and social, whether it’s a quick breakfast or a shared dinner.

The spacious terrace faces the evening sun and is ideal for sunsets and, on clear nights, northern lights. In the mornings you may spot reindeer passing by. In autumn, berries grow nearby. Nature is always close, yet the area remains peaceful.

Who we are
We live permanently in Järvenpää, but spend part of the year in the beautiful landscapes of Ruka and Kuusamo. We’re at our best in the calm of nature — on the slopes, on the trail, and on small adventures along the way.
Our cabin in Ruka is a place to slow down, relax, and enjoy both nature and skiing. We’ve shaped it into a space where guests can feel just as at home — a place where it’s easy to unwind and leave everyday routines behind.
